Paul Springfield
Administrator / Chief Financial Officer
Paul Springfield came to Expedient Home Health Care in November of 2009 to manage the daily accounting responsibilities, supervise and manage staff and oversee the implementation of agency software that encompasses operational, clinical and financial aspects of the organization. Leveraging his extensive financial background from the manufacturing and technology industries, he has been successful in managing the changes required by federal agencies that provide oversight for the health care industry. His strategic approach has been instrumental in directing the growth of the organization in line with the cultural desires of the company.
Paul earned his BSBA with Accounting Major from The University of Texas at Dallas in 1993. He has participated and led many quality initiatives including ISO implementations and Malcolm Baldrige Excellence initiatives. Paul carries with him the integrity, character and compassion required to lead Expedient Home Health Care in times of growth and change.
Irene Castaneda, RN
Director of Nursing / Alternate Administrator
Irene Castaneda joined the Expedient Home Health Care team in May of 2004 as a Staff Nurse. Her extensive knowledge and expertise quickly became apparent and she soon emerged as a leader in the organization. Having practiced nursing all over the world gives her a unique perspective into quality patient care. Her move to Houston, Texas in 1994 to work in a staffing environment gave her valuable insight into a consultative approach to nursing. Quality patient care begins with exceptional customer service and Irene ensures the clinical staff excels in delivery.
Irene earned her BSN at the University of Santo Tomas in 1978 and became licensed in Texas in 1994. She also holds her BCLS and her ACLS. Her leadership and dedication to quality patient care acts as a catalyst for all staff to achieve excellence at Expedient Home Health Care.

We also offer physical, occupational and speech therapy using evidence-based pathways to ensure thorough rehabilitation is delivered. We believe that we have a responsibility as an agency to help our staff remain on the forefront of care techniques, cutting edge technology, and understand compliance and industry regulations. Our education department is tasked with incorporating leading edge patient care technologies and implementing regulatory compliance guidelines.
